Business mission to visit Australia
A business cooperation mission from Malta will be visiting Sydney and Melbourne from the 17 July 2000 to 27 July 2000. The Mission will consist of leading business people from thirteen companies and is being organised jointly by the Malta External Trade Corporation, the Euro Info Correspondence Centre and the
Maltese Australian Chamber of Commerce, with the assistance of the Australian High Commission in Malta, the Malta High Commission in Canberra and the Australian-Maltese Chamber of Commerce. The Mission is sponsored by HSBC and Bank of Valletta, both of which have representative offices in Australia.
The primary aim of the Business Co-operation Mission is not that of selling Maltese products in Australia but rather that of introducing the Maltese companies on the Mission to Australian companies who could be interested in forming strategic alliances such as joint ventures, third country marketing arrangements, etc. with a view to penetrating markets in the Euro-Med region.
A number of Malta Seminars will be held concurrently with the Mission in order to create a broader awareness concerning Malta and its business potential with specific reference to trade and investment opportunities.

11. Motherwell Bridge: Fabrication of Complex metal engineered structures
12. Salvo Grima: Freeport, logistical support services
13. Tristar Freight Services: Commercial cargo groupage ser/ices
