NAME

The
name of the Association shall be MALTESE ASSOCIATION OF WELLINGTON
INCORPORATED.
|
|
REGISTERED
ADDRESS
|
|
The registered address of the Association shall be for the time being, c/o 31 Alien Tee. TAWA 6006
and in future such other address as may be determined upon time to time by the Committee. Notice of such change shall be given immediately to the authorities and to all members.

|
OBJECTIVES
|
|
This Association shall be non-religious and non-political and its objectives shall be:
To Provide for regular meetings of the MALTESE ASSOCIATION OF
WELLINGTON and of the Friends of Malta Society, to facilitate the exchange of information of mutual interest.
ii. To use the ideal of service as a basis, to promote, encourage and develop:
by education, literature and videos. |
The
pursuit of these objectives shall be conducted by
such means as the Association may determine from time to time.

POWERS OF THE ASSOCIATION
|
|
The-income-and-property
of the Association shall be applied solely towards the
promotion of the objectives of the Association and no profit or gains shall be distributable among its Members except that the Association has the right of the payment of remuneration to any officer or other person in return for any services actually rendered or value given to the Association.
To do all things which are incidental or conductive to the
attainment of the objectives of the Association.

MEMBERSHIP
|
|
Persons are
said to be qualified for membership if they are of Maltese
decent or the spouse/partner of a person of Maltese descent.
Membership. is extended to include non-Maltese persons who have
strong ties or interests with Malta and the Maltese.
Members to-pay voluntary annual-subscription.
Any members who want to cut all ties with the Association are to put this down in writing to the secretary.
Upon admission of a person as a Member of the Association
their name and address shall be recorded in the Register of Members and a note shall be made therein of the classification of their
membership. Whether they join this or the Friends of
Malta Society.
