Version v1.5.5.0 - (Updated 02/07/10)

New Function Added - Drag & Drop Folders: Your uninstalled programs can now be draged and droped onto your chosen category. This is done by first selecting a category from the category list that suits the uninstalled program (except All), and then drag and drop the folder onto the list.

Note: Dropped files are copied onto the chosen category folder, and not moved.

Version v1.5.4.0 - (Updated 27/05/10)

Fixed minor bug - When searching, older version was not indicating the file category in the status bar.

Text to File Renamer

Version 2.1 - (Updated 10/08/09)

As requested, dropped files onto the left panel are no longer auto sorted. If required one can sort the dropped files by pressing the right mouse button and selecting 'Sort List' from the dropped down menu.

Version 2.0 - (Updated 21/07/09)

Program has been re-written to give it an easier to follow new look. When typing text on the right panel (entering new file title), the corresponding line on the left panel (existing file name) is now auto highlighted. All other functions remain the same.

Quick Folder Locate & Open

Version 1.1 - (Updated 10/08/09)

Included a couple of function which should enhance the program.
1. A copy button has now be added next to the selected folder text. This allows the user to copy the location text to the clipboard.
2. A menu has also been added in which up to five previously selected folder names are placed, thus saving time in finding and opening recent folders.

Shortcut Genie

Version 1.5 - (Updated 11/12/08)

Fixed File requester in Edit button.

Multi-File Renamer

Version 2.3 - (Updated - 10/03/09)

On the Preview window, both Before and After have been included. The lists can also be sorted.

Fixed a few user error checks and messages.

Version 2.1c - (Updated - 10/03/09)

When selecting 'Tools/Save Folder Name List to File' or 'Tools/Save Filename List to File' the program was not saving the file. This has now been fixed.

Version 2.b - (Updated - 01/12/08)

The file date format in the Created column has now been changed from dd/mm/yy to yyyy/mm/dd. This will now give a proper sorted list if so desired.

Version 2.1a - (Updated - 02/11/08)

In Tab option ‘Auto Numeric\ Replace Filename and Number Increment’, the ‘Prefix’ can now be left empty resulting in filenames being renamed with numbers only.

Example: If the filenames are jpegs and ‘Prefix’ is left empty and ‘Start With=1’ and ’Increment by=1’ and ‘Padding Digits=3’ resulting filenames will be renamed as ‘001.jpg’, ‘002.jpg’, ‘003.jpg’, etc.

In Menu option ‘Tools\Copy filenames list to clipboard’ and ‘Tools\Save filename list to file’, the resulting list is now listed with the file’s extension removed.

New function added - ‘Text Rename’ – This new function allows you to rename any number of files, all with their own unique titles in one go. Selected files are placed onto the left display panel, whilst the intended rename titles are typed, pasted, or their text file loaded onto the right display panel, after which the Rename button is pressed to complete the process.

How to use:-
1. Select the files you wish to rename from ‘Replace/Remove’ or from the ‘Auto-Numeric’ tabs.
2. Click on the ‘Text Rename’ tab.
3. The filename will now appear on the ‘Files to be Renamed’ (left pane).
4. Paste, load, or type the titles for each file in the ‘Rename To…’ (right panel).
5. When ready click on the ‘Rename’ button.
