As result of deep love to Maltese art, Emmanuel Caruana started www.artinmalta.com which is an innovative website covering features, comments, news and galleries of the local artists in Malta. The role of the website is to serve as the link between the art creators and the public. The website will give the chance to those who are interested in Maltese art to get acquainted with the Maltese artists. The website attitude to face the artists with much respect and reasonability and keep away from any kind of commercialization, accomplish its goal.
 
Emmanuel Caruana, webmaster of www.artinmalta.com, who is an art enthusiast, knows a number of well known artists in Malta. He meets these artists at their studios on a regular basis to discuss art-related issues. He collects comments, stories from the past, description and ideas on their art which information are kept out from biography documented in books. He felt the need to share this information amongst others who are interested in Maltese art and Maltese artists. The idea kept on evolving and he decided that the website should also feature news and upcoming art related events details.

Gabriel Caruana is considered to be one of the most innovative and original artist of the Maltese contemporary art scheme. Another featured artist is Anton Agius. Anton Agius who is with no doubts one of Malta ’s leading sculptors who has a number of bronze monuments all over the island. Upcoming artists are Alfred Briffa who is known one of the best pastel artists in Malta, Sculpture Angelo Agius, Richard Saliba and Keith Balzan,
