I only had the internet for the past two weeks and was amazed to find this site. It is really a relief to find this type of international communication. I came across this site while trying to get information or addresses regarding Maltese Societies in Egypt, since I am doing research - and so contacted Mr. John J. Cassar. I am very pleased to say that he answered me only a few hours later! That is excellent! Incidentally I am a Maltese writer. I write poetry, novels etc. but concentrate on research, especially political history during the beginning of the 20th Century. I have already published three(3) political history books, two novels, and some poetry books in Maltese. I will be very pleased to write to those who are interested in these subjects, especially research. Regarding this site: keep it up, it is GREAT!

Excellent Site. Full of very useful detail. Also gives each one of us a wonderful feeling to share each others thoughts and expressions about our homeland. Anyone who would like to write to me about the families of Birzebbuga or about old times is most welcomed.
